I am a writer and Associate Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Born and raised just south of the Twin Cities, I write to grapple with the complexity of shame, queer identity, and sexual freedom. These themes manifest themselves in my creative and scholarly work.
At UW-Eau Claire, I also direct the Center for Writing Excellence.
I reside in St. Paul Minnesota with a Bernese Mountain Dog, Beauregard Lee. Together, we are always on the hunt for the newest, hippest dog park.
